In an interview with Britain's Telegraph, the Atlanta-born rapper cited warnings from civil rights leaders Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. about the dangers of working for white liberals. He also cautioned Black Lives Matter protestors not to set fire to businesses during protests in Atlanta. The rapper, whose real name is Michael Santiago Render, emphasized the importance of learning and exchanging information, regardless of political values or shortcomings.
