Brandon Marshall blames MetLife Stadium turf for ending his career: ‘Knew it was over’
27/06/2023

Former NFL receiver Brandon Marshall believes that the turf at MetLife Stadium caused his ankle injury, which ended his career five years ago. He blames the stadium's turf and claims that it has ruined other players' careers as well. Giants wideout Sterling Shepard suffered a season-ending ACL injury on the MetLife field last year, and 49ers star Nick Bosa tore his ACL in a 2020 game against the Jets. Responding to players' concerns, the teams will play on a new synthetic turf this season. Marshall, who had a 13-year NFL career totaling 12,351 yards and 83 touchdowns, is not ruling out a comeback to New York, saying he would play tight end for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets if asked.
