A woman named Mary Somerville has tragically died two months after her husband Jaime Carsi was killed in a suspected gas leak on their honeymoon. The couple had been found unconscious in a holiday home in Majorca on May 6, and Mary was taken to the hospital in a serious condition. However, she sadly passed away at St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh on July 2.

Authorities believe that the deaths may have been caused by a gas leak. The funeral directors posted an online notice describing Mary as the "beloved wife of the late Jaime" and a "dear sister-in-law, auntie, and friend to many." Mary and Jaime had married just two weeks before the incident and were due to go on a boat trip when they failed to show up, causing concern.

Friends and acquaintances have paid tribute to Mary, describing her as a warm-hearted and inspiring person.

It is believed that a broken fridge in the property caused the gas leak. Mary, a yoga and meditation teacher, was also a talented harpist and a breathwork instructor at the Art of Living Foundation in Edinburgh. Her husband, Jaime, was an analyst for a Scottish investment management company. The couple had flown from Edinburgh to stay at a family-owned house in the Cala Mesquida resort. The exact cause and circumstances of the gas leak are still under investigation.
