Emma Eastwood, Margot Robbie's body double in the new Barbie movie, has opened up about her experience on set. Emma started off as a hand double for Margot but ended up filming additional scenes in her place. Despite spending two weeks on set, she admits to having no idea what the movie is actually about. The production team did a good job of keeping the plot hidden, only revealing details of the scenes once she was on set.

Emma also recalls a scene where she was asked to lie face down on the ground for an hour, leaving her confused and disoriented once she got up. Despite the challenges, Emma is thrilled to be a part of the "Barbie" experience and described it as the best experience of her life. The movie is said to be a fish-out-of-water story about a doll who is expelled from toy society for not being perfect enough. It follows her adventures in the real world. Margot's co-star in the film is Ryan Gosling, who plays Barbie's boyfriend Ken.

Will Ferrell is also part of the cast, playing the CEO of the toy company. The movie is directed by Greta Gerwig, known for her work on "Little Women" and "Ladybird," and was written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach. Other members of the cast include Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Emma Mackey.

In terms of the filming process, Margot herself revealed that there were very few special effects used. In one scene, where Barbie steps out of her high heels, it was simply Margot's own feet in the frame. She held onto a bar for stability and double-sided tape was used on the floor to keep her shoes in place. Margot even had a pedicure done before filming the scene. The Barbie movie is highly anticipated and is set to be released on July 21st.
