A woman in Indianapolis was robbed at gunpoint and forced to befriend her attacker on Facebook. Amber Beraun returned home from work and was approached by Damien Boyce, who demanded she let him into her home and pointed a gun at her. Instead of inviting him in, Beraun gave Boyce $100 from her car.
He then demanded she add him on Facebook and find his profile, before leaving. However, Boyce later messaged Beraun to apologise for the robbery and even asked her out. He was later arrested and charged with burglary, possession of a weapon, criminal recklessness, and battery.
