A couple, Manuel Vargas-Regalado and Abigail Tellez-Vargas, tragically lost their lives in a plane crash in Southern California. The crash occurred when the Cessna C550 business jet they were on crashed into a field near French Valley Airport. The crash took place around 500 feet short of the runway and the jet was fully engulfed in flames when authorities arrived. The other victims of the crash were identified as Lindsey Gleiche, Riese Lenders, Alma Razick, and Ibrahem Razick.

The plane's owner stated that there were two pilots on board, with Lenders serving as the pilot. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.

In the wake of the devastating incident, a family friend of Vargas-Regalado and Tellez-Vargas started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to support the couple's five children. The message on the fundraiser expressed the profound impact of their passing and the heartbreaking loss for the children, as they lost both parents in the crash.

Vargas-Regalado, a Marine Corps veteran, and Tellez-Vargas were described as amazing parents to their five beautiful children. A close friend stated that they were high school sweethearts and an inspirational couple in their hometown in Texas.

The friend added that the couple's success and dedication to each other was admired by many. Tellez-Vargas's sister will be taking in the children and raising them as her own. The GoFundMe page aims to provide financial support to help ease the burden of the unexpected loss.

The campaign has already raised over $25,000. The plane crash was the second aviation incident near the Riverside County airport that week. Earlier in the week, Jared Newman, a California dad, also lost his life in a private aircraft crash near the same airport. Newman had recently obtained his pilot certification. Both crashes are still under investigation as authorities work to determine the causes. The community is rallying together to support the families affected by these unfortunate events, providing emotional and financial support in their time of need.
