The US Coast Guard has announced the recovery of "presumed human remains" from the debris linked to the OceanGate submersible that imploded on its way to explore the wreckage of the Titanic. All five people on board the submersible, including OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush and French Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, were killed in the incident. The Coast Guard stated that US medical professionals will conduct a formal analysis of the remains recovered at the site. Large chunks of the wreckage were brought ashore by crane after being recovered by Pelagic Research Services. The cause of the implosion is still under investigation.
