Carlos Santana forgave a man who sexually abused him between the ages of 10 and 12. The music icon revealed in a recent interview with People magazine that he was able to find peace by looking at the situation from a different perspective. Instead of holding a grudge, he looked at the abuser as a sick child and sent him to the light. Santana went public with his abuse in 2000, admitting that he even blamed himself for the abuse.
However, he has now found acceptance and forgiveness, which he says are really spiritual. A documentary about Santana's life, titled Carlos, is set to premiere on June 17, 2022, at The Tribeca Film Festival.
