The daughter of a French explorer who was on board the missing Titan submersible is still holding out hope for their rescue, despite the discovery of debris on the ocean floor. Sidonie Nargeolet spoke tearfully to the press before news of the find broke, saying that she was "living with a lot of stress [and] very mixed emotions".
She is confident that her father - who earned the nickname "Mr Titanic" - was able to handle any crisis situation, but is realistic about the fact that oxygen supplies may have run out. Nargeolet is believed to have perished alongside four others on board the ill-fated vessel.
