Kansas City cop kneels on customer’s neck over lack of receipt for frozen pizza
2023/06/15

A police officer in Kansas City is facing disciplinary action after kneeling on a Walmart customer's neck during an altercation over a $5 frozen pizza. Dayton Borisouth, the customer, claims he was tackled by the officer despite having a valid receipt for the pizza. A video of the incident shows Borisouth yelling at the officer to read the receipt while they wrestled on the ground. Two of the officers involved have been disciplined, and charges against Borisouth were dropped. He plans to sue. The incident has raised concerns about police use of force and racial profiling, as Borisouth believes he was targeted because he was shirtless and had blue hair.
