Prince Harry scores victory in fight over whether he admitted drug use on immigration papers
2023/06/15

The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has rejected a request from conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation to release immigration documents for Prince Harry. The group sought records regarding the Duke of Sussex's immigration application and related forms, seeking to determine whether he declared his drug use to officials before coming to live in the US. DHS senior director Jimmy Wolfrey cited privacy rules as the reason for rejecting the request. Nile Gardiner, director of the Heritage Foundation's Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, called the response "an appalling lack of transparency" and vowed the battle will continue in court. Harry's revelations about drug use were made in his book, "Spare," published in January.
